THE TRENDSS PROJECT

The TRENDSS (Transnational Roadmap for Educators in Digital Soft Skills) project was brought to life in 2020 as a prompt response to the digital shift in educational paradigms generated by the pandemic. The 2-year-long non-profit project that supports the digital transformation of educators is funded by ERASMUS+ and the European Committee.
The Erasmus-funded TRENDSS Strategic Partnership’s team cordially invite all

  • students,
  • educators,
  • teachers-in-training,
  • trainers,
  • mentors,
  • coaches,
  • youth workers,
  • and education staff

who are interested in the topic and would like to learn more about innovative solutions and good practices. The interactive event will bring together speakers from 6 different countries to share personal and professional experiences and innovations on digital transformation.
The varied program offers participants:

  1. round-table discussions,
  2. gamified workshops,
  3. creative activities based on digital tools and applications,
  4. and fun quizzes with awards for the winners.

Speakers will provide useful and practical tips on how to create interesting and motivating online

  • presentations,
  • lessons,
  • activities,
  • exercises
  • and video content.

Free access to all intellectual outputs presented (methodological guides, toolkits for online educational activities, e-learning courses, videos) will be provided.
Admission to the conference is free of charge but registration is required.
The language of the presentations and workshops will be English. The TRENDSS Transnational Conference on Digital Transformation aims at presenting some interesting and innovative tools, techniques, methods in an interactive way that was part of 2-year-long Erasmus Strategic Partnership Project. We hope that this conference is going to open a new chapter for the collaboration of digital trainers and educators of adult learners around the world.

10.00-10.20: Welcome and introduction of the TRENDSS project
10.20-10.30: Launching Scavenger Hunt: get ready for an engaging online game with prizes at the end
10.30-11.30: Games and Panel discussion on best practices of our guest international trainers, teachers, coaches and youth workers from Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Greece
11.30-11.45: Coffee break


11.45- 12.30 WORKSHOP 1
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST USE OF YOUTUBE TO ELEVATE YOUR PERSONAL BRAND?
In this workshop, you will learn:
– Why YouTube is a very powerful tool for you
– How you can make money through YouTube as a trainer
– How you can get started and create videos without robbing a bank to buy some expensive equipment
Who is your instructor:
Christina Doukouziani is a YouTube Certified video content strategist, YouTube Coach, Trainer, and Speaker. She specializes in helping coaches, trainers, personal brands and entrepreneurs thrive on camera and build their authority through YouTube. Through her workshops, speeches,
and 1-on-1 sessions she has trained hundreds of professionals on how to captivate their audience on camera, how to become the go-to expert in their niche, and ultimately how to attract new leads for their business.

BERMUDA TRIANGLE IN EDUCATION – Where does Quality Disappear in Digital Education?
In this workshop you will:
– Learn about the three challenges that you as an educator face in the digital space.
– Understand how to develop and maintain good Group Dynamics in the digital classroom.
– Find out how to fully integrate learners with the most challenging learning style for online education – kinesthetics.
– Get a few important tips for your stress resilience and well-being as an online educator.
Who are your instructors:
Kety Zhvania-Tyson, Diana Maminaishvili and Tatia Gogishvili are Soft Skills trainers with over 20-year of experience and they are members of the Non-Formal Education Youth Centre Sunny House from Georgia. They specialize in developing and delivering educational programs for NGOs, Business and Public institutions, students, parents and educators on the topics such as Team Building, Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Creative Problem-Solving, Civil Engagement, Personality Development and professional development of Trainers and Youth Workers.

GAMIFICATION WITH ONLINE APPS IN THE CLASSROOM

Gamification is a new trend in education that has a deep connection to motivation. Discover how you can turn any online classroom into an engaging game and how online software helps with that.
Who is your instructor:
Alex Sescioreanu is a digital trainer, architect and design thinker
who researched and experimented with popular software apps and examined how they could be used together to create a unique educational system and a special project-based environment.


13.45-14.00: WORKSHOP 4
HOW TO LEVEL UP YOUR ONLINE CLASSES?
During this 15 min session, you will learn:
– Where to find free online ideas on how to make your trainings more engaging for your audience,
– How to use one of the 50 exercises we designed for you,
– How to use our material to create space for physical, social, emotional and cognitive development during your online activities.

Who is your instructor:
Paulina Jędrzejewska – is an educator, soft skills trainer, and new technology enthusiast from Poland. She promotes knowledge about the creative use of web and mobile applications in art, culture and education. She teaches organisations and trainers how to implement new technologies. Author of research reports, conferences, publications and educational materials on new technologies and soft skills development. President of the Culture Shock Foundation

14.00- 14.30 Closing session AWARD CEREMONY to the Scavenger Hunt Game winners and evaluation of the event.
